I am so bummed out. I have been working on improving my credit and got it up to the mid 600′s last time i checked this time last year. I checked the annual credit report again and it is around 590!!!!!! Everything is green EXCEPT for late dings and charge offs back in 02-05 but [...]

I need to fix my bad credit, so I tried some pre approval forms (soft pull) and Orchard Bank preapproved me with their secured credit card. Does this card turn into an unsecured card ? Does it really help you raise your credit score?
