So i was layed off January 2009 and i had a credit card this was my first job, and i had about 300 dollars worth payed on there, so i thought i could pay it with my lay off money. a week later my cousin and i went to a target, and the idiot stole something and i got blamed for it and had to use all my money to pay for the ticket i got. Now a year in with no luck finding a job and only surviving with social security which i only get 600 a month and that all goes for living, i am wondering if i should get a 1000 dollar loan, and pay it off like 50 a month or so, so i can pay off my cc and fix my credit. And actually have money to have just in case i need it with my card. help me out here i need help.

No, don’t get further in debt. Things will start snowballing out of control.
You don’t have that much to pay off, even if it seems like it. Work out a payment plan with your credit card company and keep looking for work. And stay away from that cousin.
