most of it isn’t credit cards its other stuff like cell phones and other bills. How do I start to fix my credit? where do I start? Are there companies out there who can help someone like me who doesn’t owe in credit cards but other things that total about ,000.

My wife payed the reduced "settlement" amount to a collection agency for an old Capital One credit card in February.She thought the account was settled and closed as they said in their letters. Now in July she receives another notice/offer regarding the same account from an entirely different collection agency!!! I don’t trust these outfits. [...]

I Have certain accounts that i have not paid yet. I was told that they sent what i owe to the collection department. Do companies take payment plans or Is there a number for the collections department so i could contact them?. I need to fix my credit..
